The Schrade Hatchet machete Combo is a crazy good deal right now. You can get one of my favorite little camp hatchets, the SCAXE10, and a pretty decent knife for almost the same price as the hatchet alone.

Buy the combo on Amazon and support this channel (if they aren’t sold out):

  1. Hey Bryan. I hope you made it through the hurricanes okay. Do you need anything? I don’t know what is going on with Schrade, but ever since S & W took over they are becoming very cheap in thieir stuff. Kind of sad. For instance, I was sharpening my SCHF 52 and the blade rolled. Now I can’t get the thing to take an edge to fix it. Kind of irritates as I have only used it once. Any ideas? Hope you are doing well.

  2. guess i zoned out when you where talking about the desiccant pack. i put the machete in the sheath and shoved that sucker all the way to the end.

  3. Quit doing the sharpness test on your fingers! lol I was really surprised that the knife/machete was hollow ground. Nice video again!

  4. Thanx for the review! 2 questions: (1) How does the machete / knife compare to the Old Hickory Butcher knife? And (2) does the Old Hickory Butcher knife fit in the machete sheath?
