  1. Quick opinion from somebody that likes all three of the “standard” pistol cartridges: I don’t think there are very many ‘bad’ cartridges out there in mass production these days. All of them beat the snot out of throwing a rock and all of them are fully capable of doing the job they are designed for. Dead is dead, this isn’t a movie where you can be “only mostly dead”. Use what works for you and what you can handle effectively. Tailor your equipment to fit what you are most likely to need it to do and I doubt you will be disappointed with how it works for you. Variety is the spice of life and it would be a rather boring market if we only had one cartridge for each task a firearm is used for.

  2. I love .40.  It’s punchy and travels further than 9mm.  Not that that makes it any more special than the 9mm, I just like it alot.
